Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
IL-3Ra (Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha) is a member of the type I cytokine receptor family. It forms a heterodimer with the common beta (βc or CDw131) subunit and mediates signal transmission of Interleukin-3.
Heterodimerization of IL-3Ra and IL-3Rb is induced by Interleukin-3, required for receptor activation but not high-affinity binding.
IL-3Ra subunits are overexpressed on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts compared to normal hematopoietic cells, making them potential targets for novel therapeutic agents.
