Product Specific Information
- Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human (100%), Gorilla (95%), Monkey (90%), Marmoset (85%)
- For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
- After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
C5AR2 is an orphan member of the anaphylatoxin receptor family. It is a seven-transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor with an N-terminal N-glycosylation site, conserved cysteines, and potential C-terminal phosphorylation sites.
It binds to C5a and C5a-des-Arg and acts as a regulated scavenger receptor with a negative modulatory influence on C5aR-mediated inflammation.
Northern blot analysis indicates co-expression with C5aR in tissues including neutrophils/macrophages, mast cells, dendritic cells, brain, lung, heart, kidney, liver, ovary, and testis.
