Specificity: This antibody binds to human Extra-Domain containing fibronectin (EDB-FN).
Target Information
EDB-FN is a variant of the fibronectin protein that contains an extra domain, known as the extra domain B. This domain is not present in normal fibronectin and is expressed in certain tissues during embryonic development and in tumors.
It plays roles in cell adhesion, migration, and invasion, and is associated with cancer progression and metastasis.
Due to its unique expression and function, EDB-FN is studied as a potential target for cancer therapy and imaging.
