This antibody specifically binds murine GITR.

Target Information

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 18 (TNFRSF18), also known as GITR or AITR, is a protein encoded by the TNFRSF18 gene located on chromosome 1p36.33. This receptor, part of the TNF-receptor superfamily, shows increased expression upon T-cell activation and plays a key role in maintaining immunological self-tolerance mediated by CD25(+)CD4(+) regulatory T cells. Knockout studies in mice suggest its involvement in regulating CD3-driven T-cell activation and programmed cell death. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
