Anti-Human MIP-3β (CCL19)-specific antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein A affinity chromatography.

Target Information

CCL19, also known as MIP-3β (Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3 beta), is a member of the CC-subfamily of chemokines.
It is closely related to CCL21, sharing 32% amino acid sequence homology. Both CCL19 and CCL21 are mainly expressed by stromal cells in T cell-rich zones of lymph nodes.
They play a critical role in the homeostatic trafficking of naive T cells and activated dendritic cells into secondary lymphoid organs, as well as in T cell priming and activation.
Both signal through the G protein-coupled receptor CCR7, expressed on T cells and mature dendritic cells.
While both ligands bind CCR7 with similar affinity, only CCL19 binding induces receptor desensitization and internalization.
