This antibody is predicted to react with canine, mouse, and rat based on sequence homology.
On a non-reducing gel, intact IgG appears as a ~150 kDa band, and upon reduction, generates ~25 kDa (light chain) and ~50 kDa (heavy chain) bands.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Encoded by the EGFR gene on chromosome 7, EGFR belongs to the HER/ERbB family (ERbB2, ERbB3, ERbB4). Ligand binding (e.g., EGF, TGF-α) induces receptor dimerization and autophosphorylation, activating downstream signaling pathways.
Overexpression is frequently observed in tumors of the head and neck, brain, bladder, stomach, breast, lung, endometrium, cervix, vulva, ovary, esophagus, and squamous cell carcinoma.
