Product Specific Information
The 2H7 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD20, a 33–36 kDa transmembrane protein expressed on developing and mature B cells but not plasma cells. Low levels may be found on a subset of mature T cells. CD20 is implicated in B-cell activation.

- Recommended Usage: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Target Information
CD20 is a non-glycosylated surface phosphoprotein (~33–37 kDa) expressed on mature and most malignant B cells, a subset of T lymphocytes, and follicular dendritic cells. It regulates transmembrane calcium conductance, cell cycle progression, and B-cell proliferation. CD20 is associated with lipid rafts and colocalizes with BCR upon receptor ligation but remains on the cell surface after internalization events. CD20 is a key target for antibody-mediated B-cell depletion therapies.
