Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the human CD24 molecule (Heat Stable Antigen, HSA), a 35–50 kDa membrane protein anchored via phosphatidylinositol. It is expressed by erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage cells. CD24 interacts with P-selectin (CD62P).

Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.25 µg)/test.
A test is defined as antibody amount to stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information

CD24 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein expressed during multiple stages of B-cell development—from pro-B cells in bone marrow to mature surface Ig⁺ B cells. Expression is low or absent in plasma cells. CD24 is found in most B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. It may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity.
