Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K4 (MEK4) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the STE7 family. It phosphorylates and activates JNK1, JNK2, and p38 MAP kinases, preferentially targeting tyrosine residues of JNKs.
MAP2K4 plays roles in cellular stress and inflammatory cytokine responses and is implicated in carcinogenesis. Loss-of-function mutations have been reported in lung and pancreatic tumors, while pro-oncogenic activity has also been observed.
