Target Information
CD35 (CR1, Complement Receptor 1)은 세포막에 결합된 단량체 글리코프로테인으로, C3b 및 C4b의 수용체로 작용하여 보체 시스템을 통한 이물질 제거에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 활성화된 보체 복합체가 결합된 입자 및 면역 복합체에 대한 세포 결합을 매개합니다.
CD35는 4가지 allotype(C, A, B, D)을 가지며 각각 160, 190, 220, 250 kDa입니다.
주요 기능은 면역 복합체의 처리, C3b 복합체의 결합 및 식세포 작용 촉진, 보체 활성 억제에 있습니다.
CD35는 호중구, 호산구, 단핵구, B세포, 일부 NK세포, 적혈구, 골수성 백혈병 세포, 여포 수지상 세포 등에 발현되며, 호염구에서는 음성입니다.
CD35 발현 감소 또는 유전자 변이는 담낭암, 사구체신염, 전신홍반루푸스, 사르코이드증 등과 연관되어 있습니다.
또한 Plasmodium falciparum 감염 시 rosetting 감소로 중증 말라리아에 대한 보호 효과를 나타내는 변이도 보고되었습니다.
CD35 유전자는 다양한 isoform을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 변이를 가지며, 분비형 형태도 보고된 바 있습니다.
