Product Specific Information

Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

Heat shock proteins (HSP) are expressed in response to various biological stresses, including heat.
HSP90 is a 90 kDa protein that is induced under stress conditions and is one of the most abundant cellular proteins under non-stress conditions.
HSP90 proteins are highly conserved molecular chaperones involved in signal transduction, protein folding, degradation, and morphologic evolution.
They associate with cochaperones and play key roles in folding newly synthesized proteins or refolding denatured proteins after stress.
HSP90 interacts with several intracellular proteins, including steroid receptors, actin, tubulin, aryl hydrocarbon (Ah) receptor, and kinases.
