Zinc transporter ZIP9 (SLC39A9)는 이가 양이온 수송체 패밀리에 속하는 단백질로, 세포 성장, 발달, 분화에 필수적인 아연 이온 조절에 관여합니다. ZIP9은 다중 막관통 단백질로 ZIP 수송체 I 아형에 속하며, 아연 존재 여부와 관계없이 trans-Golgi network에 위치합니다. 분비 경로 내에서 아연 항상성 조절자로 작용하지만, 세포질 내 아연 항상성에는 큰 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
