For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

BTLA (B and T-lymphocyte attenuator) is a co-inhibitory receptor belonging to the CD28 superfamily. It functions as a lymphocyte inhibitory receptor, modulating immune responses. BTLA is constitutively expressed on most CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, with expression decreasing upon T cell activation. It remains expressed on Th1 cells but not on Th2 cells. BTLA interacts with the tumor necrosis factor receptor family member HVEM, forming an important pathway for regulating lymphocyte activation and immune homeostasis.
