Target Information
The PDE1B gene encodes a protein belonging to the cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE) family, specifically the PDE1 subfamily. PDE1B exhibits dual specificity for the second messengers cAMP and cGMP, with a preference for cGMP as a substrate. These molecules act as key regulators of various physiological processes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been reported.
