Target Information
IFR3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3)는 Type I interferon (IFN)-의존 면역 반응의 주요 전사 조절 인자입니다. DNA 및 RNA 바이러스에 대한 선천적 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 하며, IFN-alpha, IFN-beta 및 IFN-stimulated genes (ISG)의 전사를 조절합니다.
IFR3는 감염되지 않은 세포의 세포질에서 비활성 형태로 존재하며, 바이러스 감염 또는 toll-like receptor 신호에 의해 IKBKE 및 TBK1에 의해 인산화되어 활성화됩니다. 이 과정은 IFR3의 이합체 형성 및 핵 내 이동을 유도하고, CREB binding protein과 결합하여 dsRNA-activated factor 1 (DRAF1) 복합체를 형성하여 IFN 및 ISG 유전자의 전사를 활성화합니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 급성 감염 유도성 뇌병증(herpes-specific 7)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
