Target Information
Neuron specific enolase (NSE, ENO1, ENO2, ENO3)는 해당과정에서 2-phosphoglycerate를 phosphoenolpyruvate로 전환시키는 효소로, 신경세포 손상 시 뇌척수액(CSF) 및 혈액으로 방출됩니다. NSE는 신경계 및 신경내분비 세포에서 주로 발현되며, neuroendocrine neoplasms에서 chromogranin A와 함께 공발현됩니다.
NSE 항체는 신경세포체, 신경계 발달 과정의 세포, 신경내분비 세포를 식별하는 데 유용하며, 손상된 뉴런으로부터 방출된 NSE는 신경 손상의 바이오마커로 사용됩니다. 또한, NSE는 신경손상(뇌졸중, 저산소성 뇌손상, 간질 지속 상태, Creutzfeldt-Jakob 병, 헤르페스 뇌염 등) 및 신경내분비 종양(소세포폐암, 소아 신경모세포종 등)의 진단 연구에 활용됩니다.
