Product Specific Information
The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human and non-human primate CD185 (CXCR5/BLR1), a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor first identified in Burkitt’s lymphoma.
CD185 is expressed on B cells, CD4+ T cells, and memory (CD45RO+) T cells. It plays a critical role in lymphocyte trafficking, particularly T cell migration into B cell follicles in response to CXCL13, marking follicular helper T cells.

CXCR5 (C-X-C Chemokine Receptor Type 5, CD185), also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1), belongs to the CXC chemokine receptor family. It is a G protein-coupled receptor expressed in lymphatic tissues and Burkitt’s lymphoma.
CXCR5 plays an essential role in B cell migration and lymphocyte trafficking. It is expressed in various tissues including lymph nodes, spleen, and tonsil. GPCRs like CXCR5 share a seven-transmembrane structure and are key targets in pharmacological research.
