This antibody shows approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse OCAM and no cross-reactivity with recombinant human BCAM, EpCAM, MCAM, or NCAM-L1.
Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS before use.
Target Information
The ALCAM (CD166) gene encodes the activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule, a member of the immunoglobulin receptor subfamily with five extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains (VVC2C2C2).
This protein binds to T-cell differentiation antigen CD6 and is involved in cell adhesion and migration.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
