Product Specific Information

The SJ25C1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on B cells throughout development except plasma cells. CD19 forms a multimolecular complex with CD21, CD81, Leu13, and MHC class II, contributing to BCR signaling and B cell proliferation.

Super Bright 702 is a tandem dye excited by the violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 702 nm; use a 710/50 bandpass filter. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Target Information

CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on all peripheral B cells and some myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 functions as a coreceptor for BCR, regulating B cell activation and proliferation.
Mutation leads to hypogammaglobulinemia; overexpression causes B cell hyperactivity.
