This antibody has been tested in indirect ELISA.
Target Information
A cluster of genes, BAT1–BAT5, has been localized near the TNF alpha and TNF beta genes. The EHMT2 gene lies close to this cluster, near the C2 gene, within a 120 kb region that includes a pair of HSP70 genes. These genes are part of the human major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class III region. EHMT2 was previously thought to represent two separate genes (NG36 and G9a), but later studies confirmed it as a single gene. The encoded protein is involved in intracellular protein–protein interactions. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, with two fully described.
