Product Specific Information
This antibody reacts specifically with Histone H3 acetylated at Lysine 36 (H3K36ac) and is not affected by phosphorylation at neighboring Ser31. It shows no cross-reactivity with other acetylated lysines in histone H3.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:
- High specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulations
- Broader immunoreactivity due to larger rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information
Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein forming part of the chromatin structure in eukaryotic cells. Along with other core histones, it binds DNA to form nucleosomes. Histones play crucial roles in transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability.
The N-terminal tail of histone H3 can undergo multiple post-translational modifications, such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, which influence gene expression and chromatin dynamics.
