Product Specific Information

This antibody is expected to show broad species reactivity.
For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
For formalin-fixed tissues, heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Target Information

Cytokeratin pan is part of a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by biochemical diversity, represented in human epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides.
Cytokeratins range in molecular weight between 40–68 kDa and have isoelectric points between 4.9–7.8.
Different epithelia express specific cytokeratin profiles related to tissue type, maturation, and differentiation.
Cytokeratin subtype patterns are useful in distinguishing epithelial malignancies, aiding tumor diagnosis via immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, and flow cytometry.
Keratins serve as valuable markers in cancer research and tumor diagnostics.
