• Direct ELISA: For coating, use antibody at 2–5 µg/mL.
• Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
• Formalin-fixed tissues: Heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 min.

Target Information

MHC class II molecules are transmembrane glycoproteins composed of an alpha chain (36 kDa) and a beta chain (27 kDa). They are expressed primarily on antigen-presenting cells such as B lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, thymic epithelial cells, and activated T lymphocytes.
Three loci—DR, DQ, and DP—encode the major expressed products of the human class II region.
Human MHC class II molecules bind intracellularly processed peptides and present them to T-helper cells, playing a critical role in initiating immune responses.

HLA and MHC antibodies are essential tools in Immunopeptidomics, aiding in the identification and characterization of neoantigens via high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry.
