This antibody is expected to show broad species reactivity.
For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues:

• Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
• For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Cytokeratin pan belongs to a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by biochemical diversity and represented in human epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides.
Cytokeratins have molecular weights between 40–68 kDa and isoelectric points between 4.9–7.8.
Each human cytokeratin is numbered 1–20, and expression patterns vary by epithelial type and differentiation stage.
Cytokeratin subtype expression assists in distinguishing epithelial malignancies and is valuable in tumor diagnosis, cytopathology, and flow cytometry.
Keratins serve as important markers in cancer research and diagnostic assays.
