Target Information
The SWI-SNF complex activates transcription through ATP-dependent nucleosome remodeling. Brm (SNF2α) and Brg-1 (SNF2β) serve as ATPase subunits, forming the core complex with Ini1 (SNF5), BAF155 (SRG3), and BAF170. These components enhance remodeling activity, while other subunits play regulatory roles. hSNF2L and hSNF2H are homologs of Drosophila ISWI, present in chromatin remodeling complexes such as NURF.
