For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MMP13 (collagenase 3) is involved in the degradation of extracellular matrix proteins including fibrillar collagen, fibronectin, tenascin-C, and aggrecan.
It cleaves triple-helical collagens (types I, II, and III) with the highest activity toward soluble type II collagen, and can also degrade collagen types IV, XIV, and X.
MMP13 plays a key role in wound healing, tissue remodeling, cartilage degradation, bone development, and ossification.
Mutations in MMP13 are associated with spondyloepimetaphyseal dysplasia Missouri type, metaphyseal anadysplasia 1, and metaphyseal dysplasia Sphar type.
