For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MMP13 (collagenase 3) is involved in the degradation of extracellular matrix proteins such as fibrillar collagen, fibronectin, tenascin-C, and aggrecan. It exhibits highest activity toward soluble type II collagen and can also degrade types I, III, IV, X, and XIV collagens.
MMP13 plays key roles in wound healing, tissue remodeling, cartilage degradation, bone development, and ossification. Mutations in the MMP13 gene are associated with skeletal disorders including spondyloepimetaphyseal dysplasia Missouri type, metaphyseal anadysplasia 1, and metaphyseal dysplasia Sphar type.
