Target Information
Salmonella 속은 Enterobacteriaceae과에 속하는 그람음성 간균으로, 운동성이 있으며 편모(flagella)를 가지고 있습니다.
주요 표면 항원은 다음과 같습니다:
- H 항원 (flagellar antigen): phase 1 및 2
- O 항원 (somatic antigen): LPS의 일부
- Vi 항원 (capsular antigen): 다른 Enterobacteriaceae에서는 K 항원으로 불림
Salmonella는 그람음성균 특유의 LPS endotoxin을 가지고 있으며, 이는 O polysaccharide (O antigen), R core, Lipid A로 구성됩니다.
Endotoxin은 발열을 유발하고 보체, 키닌, 응고 인자를 활성화할 수 있습니다.
