TNIK (TRAF2 and NCK interacting kinase)는 N-말단의 kinase 도메인과 C-말단의 GCK 도메인을 가지며, 세포골격 조절에 중요한 역할을 하는 단백질입니다. 주로 뇌, 심장, 비장에서 발현되며, RAP2의 특이적 효과기로 작용하여 actin cytos켈레톤을 조절합니다. TNIK는 ATP 결합 포켓 내 Lys54에 의존하는 자동 인산화 과정을 거치며, gelsolin을 인산화하여 actin 절단 기능을 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 이러한 특성은 TNIK가 세포골격 조절에 핵심적인 기능을 수행함을 시사합니다.
