Target Information

Rat IgG2a is an immunoglobulin subclass produced by the rat immune system. It activates complement and mediates antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).
Molecular weight is approximately 160 kDa, composed of two heavy and two light chains.
Commonly used as a control or reference antibody in experiments using rat models, and in flow cytometry or immunohistochemistry applications.
