This antibody detects endogenous levels of p130Cas only when phosphorylated at Tyr387.
Target Information
The p130Cas (Cas for Crk-associated substrate) is a common cellular target of phosphorylation signaling via v-Crk and v-Src oncoproteins. It contains an SH3 domain followed by multiple YXXP motifs and a proline-rich region.
p130Cas is involved in various biological processes such as:
- Cell adhesion and migration
- Growth factor stimulation
- Cytokine receptor engagement
- Bacterial infection
