Product Specific Information

This antibody detects endogenous levels of RhoA only when phosphorylated at Thr100.

Target Information

RhoA regulates a signal transduction pathway linking plasma membrane receptors to the assembly of focal adhesions and actin stress fibers. It is involved in a microtubule-dependent signal required for myosin contractile ring formation during cytokinesis and plays an essential role in cleavage furrow formation. RhoA is necessary for apical junction formation in keratinocyte cell-cell adhesion and acts as a target for the yopT cysteine peptidase from Yersinia pestis and Yersinia pseudotuberculosis. It stimulates PKN2 kinase activity and may activate PLCE1. RhoA is activated by ARHGEF2, promoting GDP-GTP exchange, and is essential for SPATA13-mediated regulation of cell migration and adhesion dynamics. The MEMO1-RHOA-DIAPH1 signaling pathway is crucial for ERBB2-dependent microtubule stabilization at the cell cortex, controlling APC and CLASP2 localization via GSK3B regulation. Membrane-bound APC enables MACF1 localization, required for microtubule capture and stabilization.
