The eBio299Arm monoclonal antibody is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

  Use isotype control at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

eFluor® 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue®, excited with the Violet laser (405 nm) and emits at 445 nm. Ensure your instrument can detect this fluorochrome.

Target Information

Isotype control antibodies serve as negative controls to help distinguish non-specific background signal from specific antibody signal.
They are typically used in flow cytometry, but also applicable in ChIP, immunohistochemistry, and gel shift assays.

To ensure accurate results, the isotype control should match the species and isotype of the primary antibody.
When using directly labeled primary antibodies, the control should be conjugated with the same label.
