Product Specific Information
The pY20 monoclonal antibody recognizes phosphorylated tyrosine residues (p-Tyr) on proteins. Tyrosine phosphorylation is a key mechanism in intracellular signaling cascades. Detection of p-Tyr residues aids in the characterization and purification of phosphorylated proteins and their associated biochemical pathways.
Applications Reported:
This antibody is suitable for intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining of normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.06 µg) per test. A test is defined as the amount of antibody staining a cell sample in 100 µL final volume. Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Fluorophore Information:
eFluor™ 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue™, excited at 405 nm and emitting at 445 nm. Compatible with Violet laser detectors.
Staining Protocols:
- Protocol A: Two-step for cytoplasmic proteins (surface + intracellular detection)
- Protocol B: One-step for nuclear proteins (transcription factors + phosphorylated intracellular proteins)
- Protocol C: Two-step fixation/methanol for phospho-specific signaling discrimination

Target Information
