For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD31 (platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1, PECAM-1) is an inhibitory coreceptor involved in the regulation of T cell and B cell signaling through dual immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs). Upon phosphorylation by associated kinases, these motifs provide docking sites for protein-tyrosine phosphatases.
CD31 is widely expressed within the vascular system, mainly at junctions between adjacent cells. Its N-terminal Ig-like domain mediates homophilic binding, crucial for cell-cell interactions.
It plays multiple roles in integrin-mediated adhesion, transendothelial migration, angiogenesis, apoptosis, immune regulation, macrophage phagocytosis, and thrombosis, acting as a key regulatory molecule in the vascular system.
