For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The GPI gene encodes a multifunctional phosphoglucose isomerase involved in energy metabolism. The dimeric enzyme catalyzes the reversible isomerization of glucose-6-phosphate and fructose-6-phosphate.
Inside the cell, it functions in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis; outside the cell, it acts as a neurotrophic factor for spinal and sensory neurons.
Defects in this gene can cause nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia and may be associated with severe enzyme deficiency leading to hydrops fetalis, neonatal death, and neurological impairment.
