Specificity: The antibody is specific for the human CD1a protein.
Target Information
CD1a는 비다형성 MHC Class I 관련 세포 표면 당단백질로, β2-마이크로글로불린과 결합하여 발현됩니다. CD1a는 피질 흉선세포, 랑게르한스 세포, 수지상세포 등에서 발현되며, 일부 T세포 계열 악성종양 및 histiocytosis X에서도 관찰됩니다.
CD1a는 MHC 단백질과 구조적으로 유사하며, β2-마이크로글로불린과 이합체를 형성합니다. CD1 단백질은 자가 또는 미생물 유래의 지질 및 당지질 항원을 T세포에 제시하는 역할을 합니다.
인간 게놈에는 염색체 1번에 CD1a, b, c, d, e 등 5개의 CD1 유전자군이 존재하며, 각 유전자는 세포 내 위치 및 지질 리간드 특이성에 차이를 보입니다. CD1a는 주로 세포막과 초기 엔도시토시스 소포 내에서 재활용됩니다.
CD1a의 대체 스플라이싱 전사체도 보고되었으나, 그 생물학적 유효성은 아직 확립되지 않았습니다.
