Target Information
HHV8는 AIDS 환자에서 관찰되는 세 가지 질환, 즉 Kaposi's sarcoma, primary effusion lymphoma(체강을 침범하는 드문 비호지킨 림프종), 그리고 multicentric Castleman’s disease와 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 현재까지 HHV8이 Kaposi's sarcoma의 발병에 직접적인 역할을 한다는 많은 증거가 보고되었습니다.
