Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
KIAA0391 (also known as MRPP3, mitochondrial ribonuclease P protein 3) is a 583-amino-acid mitochondrial protein involved in tRNA maturation. It is a component of mitochondrial ribonuclease P, which cleaves tRNA at the 5′ end. This enzyme complex includes RG9MTD1, MRPP22, and KIAA0391 subunits. Alternative splicing generates four isoforms of KIAA0391. The gene maps to human chromosome 14, which contains about 700 genes and constitutes approximately 3.5% of human genomic DNA.
