Product Specific Information
Description:
The HI30 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of human CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except circulating erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic region of CD45 has tyrosine phosphatase activity, playing a key role in lymphocyte activation.

Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.06 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Excitation/Emission:
633–647 nm / 660 nm (Red Laser)
Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, constituting ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It is absent in non-hematopoietic tissues and cell lines.
CD45 plays a critical role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and cytokine receptor signaling. It exists in multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains.
CD45 isoforms (e.g., CD45RA) show cell-type–specific expression and influence signal transduction, apoptosis, and immune regulation.
