Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant human TWEAK R is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
TWEAK is a member of the TNF family and was first described as a weak inducer of apoptosis in transformed cell lines. A receptor for TWEAK, known as TweakR, was isolated by expression cloning from a HUVEC cell cDNA library. TweakR is a small protein belonging to the TNF receptor superfamily and can initiate proliferative signaling by binding to TRAF1, 2, and 3. TweakR mRNA is upregulated during tissue regeneration in the aorta and liver, and may play a role in vascular cell migration and angiogenesis.
