- In direct ELISAs, less than 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Kallikrein 1, rhKallikrein 3, rhKallikrein 5, and rhKallikrein 9 is observed.

Target Information
Hippostasin, also known as KLK11, is a kallikrein-like serine protease with two alternatively spliced isoforms: brain-type and prostate-type.
It plays roles in the prostate, including reproductive and tumorigenic functions. Elevated serum KLK11 levels have been reported in 70% of women with ovarian cancer and 60% of men with prostate cancer.
Analysis of KLK11 biomarkers in serum may aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of ovarian and prostatic carcinoma.
