Target Information
Cytokeratin pan belongs to a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by biochemical diversity, represented in human epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides.
Cytokeratins have molecular weights between 40–68 kDa and isoelectric pH between 4.9–7.8.
Expression patterns are characteristic of epithelial type and differentiation stage, making cytokeratin antibodies valuable in distinguishing epithelial malignancies.
Cytokeratin antibodies are useful tools in:
