Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
O6-Methylguanine-DNA Methyltransferase (MGMT) is a DNA repair protein that contributes to tumor cell resistance to alkylating chemotherapeutic agents. It protects normal cells from genotoxic and carcinogenic effects by removing alkyl groups from the O6 position of guanine in DNA.
MGMT expression varies widely depending on cell type, tissue, species, and tumor characteristics.
