Target Information
BATF3 (also known as SNFT) belongs to the basic leucine zipper transcription factor family. It acts as a transcriptional repressor when forming heterodimers with Jun, inhibiting transcription of IL-2 and MMP-1. BATF3 is essential for the development of CD8α⁺ classical dendritic cells (DCs) and related CD103⁺ DCs that cross-present antigens to CD8 T cells.
