Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The three KINDLINs constitute a novel family of focal adhesion proteins localized to integrin adhesion sites. They contain a central FERM domain interrupted by a pleckstrin homology (PH) domain.
KINDLIN1 and KINDLIN2 are widely expressed and play key roles in integrin-mediated adhesion and spreading, while KINDLIN3 is restricted to hematopoietic cells, particularly megakaryocytes and platelets.
KINDLIN3 is essential for platelet integrin activation and outside-in signaling, making it a potential target for therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating integrin activation in platelets and leukocytes.
Transcriptional dysregulation of KINDLINs has been reported in various cancers.
