For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Cell-mediated immune responses are initiated by T lymphocytes stimulated by peptides bound to MHC molecules on antigen-presenting cells (APCs).
Activated T cells express inhibitory receptors such as PD-1 (PDCD-1), which binds to its ligands PDL-1 and PDL-2 to downregulate immune activation.
In the absence of danger signals (e.g., LPS), PD-1 signaling inhibits immune responses. PD-1 knockout mice exhibit hyperactive immune systems and autoimmune phenotypes.
Although PD-1 has a predicted molecular weight, it frequently migrates at a higher molecular weight in SDS-PAGE.
