Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Biotin is a water-soluble B complex vitamin, generally classified as Vitamin B7.
It is required by all organisms and can only be synthesized by bacteria, yeasts, molds, algae, and some plant species.
Biotin is required for incorporation of carbon dioxide into organic compounds and exhibits a molecular weight of approximately 244 Da.
