Target Information
TLK1 (Tousled-like kinase 1)은 핵 내 serine/threonine kinase로, 염색질 조립 조절에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. TLK1은 DNA 손상 체크포인트의 새로운 표적 단백질로, 이온화 방사선(IR)에 노출될 때 빠르게 비활성화됩니다.
이 비활성화는 S-phase DNA damage checkpoint에 의해 직접적으로 매개되며, DNA 이중가닥 절단, 복제 차단, 자외선 조사 등에 의해 TLK1 활성이 억제됩니다. 이 과정에는 ATM, NBS, CHK1 단백질이 관여합니다. Tousled-like kinase는 처음 Arabidopsis에서 보고된 핵 내 serine/threonine kinase 계열입니다.
