Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is structurally similar to CDC46 from S. cerevisiae, involved in DNA replication initiation. It belongs to the MCM family of chromatin-binding proteins and interacts with other family members. This protein is upregulated during the G0 to G1/S phase transition and may participate in cell cycle regulation.
